Scott was recognized for his leadership in a statewide public corruption investigation that resulted in the prosecution of numerous state senators and representatives. A decorated investigator, he received an award from the DOJ Civil Rights Unit and the Inspector General Award for Excellence, and he was named Knoxville Special Agent of the Year.
